Let's hit the hills!

We spent a Saturday in the mountains on the Moggollon rim with some friends from our ward and had a great time. It was chilly but beautiful. There were still a few snow patches left that the kids had fun playing in, too. We had fun roasting hot dogs, kids swinging, a little hike with dads, and just relaxing in the cool breeze & fresh air!

Then as we were getting ready to leave, our van wouldn't start. The battery was dead! Luckily we were able to catch the last of our friends as they were driving off. So we sat in our van waiting until they could get jumper cables since neither of us had any! They came back an hour later with a fireman who had followed them to jump start our van. Thank you Shauna and Casey for driving down to the town of Pine to help us out, we owe you!!

Looks like so much fun. Getting out of the city is the best thing at times. To smell the fresh air and the pines and to let your kids just have fun doing something they don't do everyday. Family Fun thats what it's about.

Sounds pretty crazy, dead batteries etc.. but it looks like the rest of the experience was fun! Love the mountain air. Makes me want to get away too!
