Today Hunter and I got to go down and watch as they lifted the Angel Moroni Statue up onto the temple! It was really cool to watch. Glad we were able to be there.

15 years
It's hard to believe it's been 15 years that we've been married! Time goes insanely fast. Feels like I was just 20 a few years ago. In 4 1/2 years, Ally will be 18. That blows my mind! This week, we celebrate 15 years, 4 beautiful kids, and lots of memories.
We took off for a couple days up to the mountains, and stayed in a little cabin near Christopher Creek. We spent a few hours the first day hiking up a creek. It was called Horton's creek and it was about 7 miles roundtrip. It was really nice to take a break from reality and just enjoy nature and chat.
We went that night to eat at a place called Creekside Grill and Tavern, and had the place to ourselves! Right outside the restaurant as we pulled up, we saw about 6 elk on the side of the road. We stopped to see them, and they just stood there and stared at us. Since it was dusk, the pictures didn't turn out.
This was the little place we stayed. They had a jacuzzi, which was nice after the hike.
The next morning we went on a walk around the lake, and enjoyed the peacefulness for a few minutes.

hikes
I have realized that i really love hiking, at least when the weather is so nice! It's a fun way to get exercise, and enjoy nature. I've done Squaw Peak a few times, and last week I also did the Wind Caves, Usery Mountain, and I loved that one. I will go as much as I can until it gets too hot!
Cambree's Baptism
I haven't posted in a while. Since the last time, Cambree had a birthday, and Hunter's is today! Cambree turned 8 and got baptized. She is growing up so fast!! She is in 2nd grade and is so funny and sweet. She was baptized on February 18, 2012. The baptisms were early... 8:30 am! But it was a wonderful morning, and we are so proud of her.
~Since her baptism was early, as soon as it was done, we came home, had lunch and went hiking as a family. It was a beautiful day, and we couldn't resist spending some time hiking outdoors.

another hike
Well, we are taking advantage of this amazing weather, and trying to get out and enjoy it. We went on a hike with just Kacey and Cambree. Ally and Hunter enjoyed spending some time at Grandma & Grandpa R's at the same time.
This was Kacey and Cambree right as we began.

This was a nasty little critter we found under a rock.

Brad's hike
Brad recently went on the Superstition Ridgeline hike with a few friends.
They had a good time, and are talking about doing it again in February.
This hike starts at CarneySprings, near Paralta, and ends going down Flat Iron.
This is where they started.
In the pic above of him, he gets to this point and the pic below is what he sees is next.
Beautiful views.
These are boulders they had to come down! fun.
