15 years

It's hard to believe it's been 15 years that we've been married! Time goes insanely fast.  Feels like I was just 20 a few years ago. In 4 1/2 years, Ally will be 18.  That blows my mind! This week, we celebrate 15 years, 4 beautiful kids, and lots of memories.

We took off for a couple days up to the mountains, and stayed in a little cabin near Christopher Creek. We spent a few hours the first day hiking up a creek. It was called Horton's creek and it was about 7 miles roundtrip. It was really nice to take a break from reality and just enjoy nature and chat. 
We went that night to eat at a place called Creekside Grill and Tavern, and had the place to ourselves! Right outside the restaurant as we pulled up, we saw about 6 elk on the side of the road. We stopped to see them, and they just stood there and stared at us.  Since it was dusk, the pictures didn't turn out.

This was the little place we stayed. They had a jacuzzi, which was nice after the hike.

The next morning we went on a walk around the lake, and enjoyed the peacefulness for a few minutes.
