Air balloons

On our way home from Mesa, we saw two air balloons coming down for a landing. We happened to time it right, and were driving past right as they were almost down.
They couldn’t find a place to land, and missed the park they were aiming for, so we followed them through the neighborhood. They were so low, we could see and hear the people in the balloons talking.

At one point, the balloons were lower than the light posts, and were almost in a backyard! They also bumped into each other.

The kids loved seeing them so up close, and said it was the best Saturday ever! The small things are big things, to kids. But they were really big and beautiful up close. I didn’t zoom any of these pictures, this is how close they really were.

This one was almost down in the street behind that house, and wasn't planning on being that low. haha
